In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, more people are working remotely than ever. Although working from home can be challenging, it can also offer opportunities for collaboration and productivity. Use any chat tool that you have to communicate with colleagues. There are many. Use GIFs and emojis. They’re not frivolous and add an extra layer of expression to technology communication.

Start trainingMaybe now is the time to start Cortana from the comfort of your own home. You can rely on her to help with tasks such as reminders, calendar appointments, and to-do lists.
You’ll use chat more often if you are a Microsoft Teams user to communicate with your colleagues. Instead of checking whether someone is available, you can choose to be notified when they are online. To do this, click the “…” icon next to the name of the chat member and choose Notify when they are available.
It can be quite isolating to work from home. Respond immediately to any post in your chat channel. Even if it’s an emoji. If they said something to you in person, wouldn’t you not ignore them?
